I hope they prove me wrong but I have no confidence. But they are from different themes, therefore its quite hard to compare them without setting up a filter first, like gameplay wise or story wise etc.

A bit fairer question would be 'Skyrim or Fallout NV'. In the interview, Howard also discussed what returning to working on Skyrim was like after spending so much time working on the long-awaited next addition to the Fallout series. With games like Avowed and the Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Mount and Blade 2, RDR2 etc, Bethesda clearly has some competition in the open-world role-playing space and they aren't the be-all end-all in the genre anymore. Skyrim is a bit old compared to fallout 4(even though they have been made with the same engine). Fallout 4 on the other hand, has been kept current through the use of regular updates and several popular DLC installments, making it Bethesdas most successful game of all time. I don't hold much hope for either franchise in the future because of Bethesda's clear determination to monetize the games and make them service-oriented, but I can't help but give them a shot.

I'd still load and play Skyrim today on PC because I felt more like I was role-playing the Dragonborn instead of shoe-horned Joe Veteran from Fallout 4. I played Skyrim for 350 hours on PC and still went back to the vanilla experience on Switch. What Fallout 4 DOES have innately though, is a built-in survival mechanic, which can attract different players than the typical RPG crowd. New Vegas was a step in the right direction for the franchise and 4 demolished any chance I'd be interested in 76 (not to mention the issues that game launched with.) ThereвЂ™s a lot of hidden moments in Fallout 4 just like in Skyrim, but the volume thatвЂ™s in Skyrim is much higher because the world is just bigger. The dialogue choices from New Vegas to 4 were dire. Modding weapons was done better IMO in New Vegas.

Thankfully, Bethesda marketing VP Pete Hines sat down for a recent interview to explain how the Creation Club is different than paid mods and what exactly creators can do within the new program. All the gameplay mechanics feel undeveloped, especially bases. Available for the hyper-popular Bethesda titles Fallout 4 and Skyrim, the Creation Club has stirred up a much confusion as it has excitement. I played it for 115 hours and I've tried going back with mods and alternate starts and the DLC and I just CANNOT get back into it.
